A dimensional DM piece that I did with freelance copywriter Suzanne Winterflood for AstraZeneca’s bipolar disorder drug Seroquel has been chosen one of the winners in the The Rx Club Awards in New York! It will receive at least an Award of Excellence certificate. Gold and Silver Award winners will be announced at the show's opening night on Thursday 13 November 2008.
GPs and psychiatrists received a cardboard box which, after opened, revealed a pink plastic cube with light glowing from within. Not only was the battery operated light source literally sheding light to bipolar depression issues that the brochure underneath highlighted, it also acted as a visual link to Seroguel’s tagline “find the balance between light and dark” (referring to bipolar disorder patient’s cycling mania and depression episodes).
