I’m a freelance conceptor, art director, designer, brainstormer... whatever you need me to be – well, almost.
Born in Finland and also having lived in Ireland prior to moving to NZ in 2004, my background is rich with both through-the-line and below-the-line experience, particularly DM, CRM and promos. I love 360 degree thinking and coming up with weird and wonderful ways for brands to interact with the consumers and customers. Designing logos is also close to my heart and something I’d like to think I’m pretty good at.
I’m one of those hybrid creatives who are able to take a creative brief from concept and scamps to finished art (CS3/4), although any tricky retouching and clear-cutting I leave for the production specialists with superfast computers and time-saving skills :-)
I can work independently from home or as a casual part of your team on site. Even though I prefer the thinking bit, I can mac up layouts and produce 1st arts to take pressure off the studio. You decide.
Most people would say I’m insightful, inquisitive, passionate, ambitious, quick-thinking, industrious and extremely conscientious. The rest would highlight the fact that I can make believable monkey-noises, in addition to speaking and writing perfect English. *spell check, quick!*
